Alexander is originally from South Wales however his work has taken him consistently around the globe. Studying economics at the University of Swansea, and then obtaining his legal qualifications, Alex took the leap into quantity surveying and was initially employed in Perth, Australia for several years. On his return to the UK, he based himself in London working on multi-billion pound projects on some of the most prestigious commercial developments in the city.

As an accomplished construction professional with a legal background, he has been headhunted to deliver major construction and infrastructure projects including leading the project bid / procurement phase, through to completion of the defect’s liability period and closing out contractual obligations. His knowledge also includes all facets of cost and contract management.

Alex has a natural ability to make anyone feel at ease and as a result, clients really trust his methods to get the right results. He knows what it takes to deliver in short time frames, under pressure and with millions of pounds at risk. Familiar with all things construction and legal, Alex has developed a strong working relationship with Nicholls & Nicholls, having previously worked with Lucinda, and knowing the firm provides what is required to get the job done. He has become an integral part of the construction team at the firm.
