Angela actively runs the accounts department dealing with all things finance. She began her career in banking, progressing to working in financial management and data analysis within this sector.
She thereafter founded and actively managed several successful international businesses in travel and construction. This meant actively overseeing high value commercial contracts, including international shipment and navigating the logistics and supply of materials and workforce by road, sea and air in the UK and abroad. Consistently taking responsibility for all financial procedures and forecasts including operational direction, this therefore demonstrates that Angela is a very safe pair of hands in accounting and finance, regularly undertaking the roles of Company Secretary and Financial Director.
Following a career break, Angela accepted a role within the Welsh Assembly Government. Here she prepared and forecasted financial data, briefing ministers on funding and recommending a particular course of action. She further undertook courses in Equality & Diversity at work and Women in Management.
Whilst a civil servant, Angela went back to university to obtain additional qualifications to assist in her goal of teaching and helping others. After receiving these, she spearheaded a local community project encouraging confidence and fluency in reading, writing, and speaking skills for students and their families where English was their second language. She further volunteered assisting young people who found themselves facing court proceedings by being accepted by Cardiff Youth Offending Team as a Panel Member on Referral Order contracts.
Now semi-retired, Angela works part time dealing with the accounts at Nicholls & Nicholls as well as fostering dogs who find themselves in rehoming centres.
